Pretty awesome with creatures who have an Evoke cost as well, since they will be sacrificed and then returned thanks to the Renewal, not only allowing to get them onto the battlefield pretty cheap but also triggering their cip/etb trigger twice!
Mulldrifter for instance will provide a 2/2 flying body and four cards for 2Blue.
Nevermaker and Æthersnipe will bounce cards.
Four four mana you get 7/7 bodies from Walker of the Grove (which either gives a further and up to a second 4/4 body) or Cloudthresher (which has flash, reach and deals and 4 damage to each creature and each player).
At instant speed Briarhorn provides +3/+3 twice and a 3/3 body for 1Green,
or Dawnfluke for White can prevent 3 damage to any target twice and provides a 0/3 body. There are lots of great choices.

I suppose this is pretty cool. It's like a cheap Breath of Life, but you have to play it preemptively. And that's not a bad thing at all.

This is amazing with the Eldrazi! I wish I could get this card. It's so hard to find old cards these days! I wish I never took a 10 year hiatus. I missed so much good stuff! There is truly no way to describe the feeling when you pull out your cards, sift through them making a deck, and having all these cards at your disposal. Nothing like it! 4/5 for sure, this card has great uses nowadays.

I love this card, it's cheap and you can have more fun with it than some other creature returns.
