decent card, but I dont know how giving something dragon's teeth would make it trample

Probably the best of the Dragon aspects since green tends to have expensive creatures to trigger this and also has big, trampleless creatures that could benefit from being EVEN BIGGER and having trample.

I don't know what to think. The initial 2cmc for +1/+1 and trample doesn't seem all that great (comparing to Rancor), but returning it to play enchanting for example Kalonian Behemoth or Plated Slagwurm for free sure is nice.

However, there are not many playable green creatures with 6cmc or more that wouldn't already have trample. I guess this could be more useful in multicolor?

Gave it 3½ for confusing me!

One of the main pieces to my friend's Oath of Druids deck, running this, the white Dragon Aura card, and Serra Avatar. An amazing deck...I've yet to really see one like it in our group.

Would work well in an Eldrazi reanimation deck (currently working on one, with a bit of dredge in it)

Note that you don't need green to give one of your big creatures trample, as long as you can get it grave side

It's not fair to compare anything to Rancor, it's the absolute epitome of green auras. With that in mind, this is actually decent, not spectacular, but a solid choice compared to things like Tiger Claws or Primal Frenzy.

You have to compare it to Rancor, it's a green aura that gives trample. That's like saying Giant Growth can't be compared to Berserk because Berserk is the epitome of green pump. Both cards are useful, but one is clearly better than the other.

Remember that you have to pay for Rancor each time you bring it back, whereas this comes back from the GY for free. So if you need to recur the buff more than twice, this becomes more cost effective than Rancor (assuming you only have fatties, but that's a given if you're using this).

I really like Dragon Fangs (and all the others except Scales) for EDH. Your general is going to die sometimes, and if it has that 6+ CMC, it comes back with a free buff. Sounds good to me!
