One might like the flavor text of this card more, yet M11's War Priest of Thune is a pretty replacement for Monk Realist.
Why content oneself with a 1/1 chump blocker if you might as well have a 2/2 body instead?

Love those trigger effects. A candidate for Astral Slide, Parallax Wave, Sigil of the New Dawn, or Enduring Renewal.

I love the flavour text. That said, I like the card itself too! Destroying an Oblivion Ring or a Pacifism and getting a chump blocker too seems like a pretty good deal to me.

I dunno, he might accidentally blow those enchantments up.

This guy is white's only member of the "2-mana vanilla 1/1 + ETB effect" cycle. Although white gets plenty of bigger 2-drops with nice effects, I hope to see a stronger 1/1 printed to take this monk's place.
