Wow, pretty potent! Being able to take out the best creatures every turn at the cost of 4 life isn't too bad. If you're killing creatures, the life payment shouldn't be too bad.

Great in Commander where life is cheap and very flavorful in any ruthless black deck. It ranges in usefulness from devastating to a dead draw depending on what your opponent's loadout is. If you can maintain heavy suppression and ramp the mana, you then can use this to pick off whatever creatures struggle onto the board at Instant speed, over and over and over...

Nice art !
For a black card i like to see some dominant red and the background is just nice plus colorfull characters.
I add it to a life gain deck since Orzhov bring me a lot of card with RTR bloc.
