This is still usable, mainly in Soldier decks. In such decks flying is hard to come by and they usually need to resort to non-soldiers to do it. Then bingo! Reach!

Not exactly, here's why.
In my deck, I use Ballyrush Banneret , Daru Warchief and Field Marshal.
With the 1 less colorless to play, this card becomes a 1 drop. I can't lower Longbow Archer's cost to 1.
Longbow Archer has First Strike, so what, I got Field Marshal giving all my other soldiers First Strike.
Longbow Archer is a 2/2. Alaborn Musketeer is a 2/1. Who cares since I got Coat of Arms and a lot of +1/+2 +1/+1?
