I consider the unflipped Nezumi to be better that it's flipped cousin simply for the fact that it's a pretty reliable discarding engine. It's pretty damn vulnerable to removal, though.

Most have that ability "Play this ability only any time you could play a sorcery" because it would be incredibly annoying to be locked out of play because an opponent forces you to discard the only card you have after your draw step. This one can only do that once before it has to flip.

This is the only card with a discard ability that I can find that does NOT have "Play this ability only when you can play a sorcery."

5 stars for instant-speed discard.

@Pantheon.
Necrogen Spellbomb, Recoil, Mindlash Sliver, Piracy Charm, and Funeral Charm also have instant speed. Stop That for those Un-fans. If they are casting, you can counter with Frightful Delusion or Dismal Failure. These do not help if they are top decking though. There are numerous cards that make them discard when enter the field, if you have ways to give your creatures flash. Also, others when they go to the graveyard, by sacing them to another effect, would be instant on their turn. Another option for the ones "When this deals damage to a player ..... (see all)
