That's a sad thing, Soul of Magma actually sounds like a powerful and playable card.
Making it common and giving it crap stats probably wasn't the best idea.
Then again, Wizards did this a lot with the kamis.
I think they were a bit too reserved after Affinity regarding the Spiritcraft theme.
(Not so much regarding the top or the jitte, though :D)
