Not that bad. Just play with lots of cheap arcane spells and it can become a weaker pseudo-Capsize.

Splice is an awesome mechanic.
When it's cheap.
So, yeah... unless you're running a deck with tonnes of Elder Pines and Kodama's Reach you're not going to be packing this. Expensive combat tricks aren't convenient.
