The only problem that I see with this card is that he has too high of a mana cost (duh). He's at least got some useful effects and a decent P/T. Not to mention the amazing art

Doesn't hold up well against Kor Hookmaster. Of course, hookmaster is a pretty good card. In limited, at least.

I'm so baffled.
With this cmc, he needs a better ability or p/t. I just feel bad comparing him to Kitsune Blademaster who has got bushido 1, first strike, and 2/2 for 2W!
For 4W... Ah well. Was the tapping and one more toughness worth it?
