I love using this card in EDH. Generals like Zur the Enchanter, Arcum Dagson, and, my favorite, Braids, Conjurer Adept can have a lot of fun with it while still slipping plays in with their abilities.

Probably the best Epic spell. Except Soulscour; now THAT'S an epic spell.

Just by itself this might turn out to be more of an epic fail than an epic win, at least if you cast it in the late game and play against decks for instance that don't run costy permanents.

I'd certainly play this with manlands like Mishra's Factory or Celestial Colonnade, and various permanents like Panoptic Mirror with abilities that let me circumvent the fail part of this epic spell.

This could also be a nice target for Spellweaver Helix to cast it early (via cards like Intuition and Raven's Crime).

This + Hivemind in a multiplayer game is absolutely hilarious.

Twincasting this while on the stack is also quite fun and works.

I really do love Epic, but it's really risky business.

@MTGFreak:

If you Twincast it while it's on the stack, it retains its Epic ability....
In that case would you grab two (or however many times you replayed it before the first resolved) permanents from your opponent's deck each turn?

Epic spells are always fun with Hivemind's, as are the pacts, but this card is actually not bad.

I've always loved the "Epic" mechanic, and this is one of the best. Goes along with Sen Triplets don't you think? Let's play with you're opponents deck shall we?

@bloodyspasm
You can't play a good permadentless deck because lands count as permanents too.
