I prefer to combo Shaman en-Kor, with Daru Spiritualist.

this should have:"cleric creatures you control have absorb 1 (if a source would deal damage to a cleric creature you control prevent 1 of that damage)

This is a gate card to use with Last Laugh
I dont know why anyone didnt notice this combo... I know it is a bit expensive combo (5 mana?) but it worths.
In other words, you may sacrifice clerics or destroy ALL creatures with you preventing all the damage with this cleric.
Such a powerfull combo

A bit costy, considering the combos with Pestilence, Caltrops, Last Laugh or
Death Pits of Rath would work with Mark of Asylum.
However, in combat they really add up. Have 2 of these out and they can only use their biggest creatures to damage anything. It makes attacking hordes of blockers lot easier. Also another body to boost Doubtless One, Vile Deacon, Battletide Alchemist, Battlefield Medic or Master Apothecary is always welcome.
