Guys, just use this in an EDH deck. It's actually not that hard to pull off... especially if you're willing to target your own stuff should one of the types of cards be missing on an opponent's side. You know, take one for the team.

This card is perfect for EDH. Invariably, in a game with multiple opponents, you will have an artifact, creature, enchantment, and land that needs to be destroyed. Decimate can take care of all of them at the same time, and for only four mana.

Besides, if you can't make the count (say you're lacking an enchantment), you can always destroy something of your own that you don't mind losing. For instance, would you give up a token creature to get rid of an enchantment, artifact, and land? It still seems like a very good deal to me.

Wow, I just took a good look at the art. One lazer is hitting the guy (creature) on the bluish aura around him(enchantment) one is hitting his sword (artifact) and one is hitting the dirt(land). The rays are even the right color for what they are wrecking! Red for the land and creature (stone rain and friends/all the burn). Green for the artifact and enchantment (all that naturalize back to basics stuff). Well done Mr Horley.

the thing I love about this card is the art, truthfully.

"Oh dear, here comes the rainbow lasers!
AH! MY SWORD!
AH! MY UMBRA!
AH! MY LIVER!
AH! THE DIRT!

YOU FIENDS! HOW DARE YOU HURT THE DIRT!"

Truly, incredibly difficult to play. However, if you were to build a deck around wish cards, namely Burning Wishes, you would be able to have more control on the time you want this to be in your hand. If it can't resolve in the given circumstances, then you wish for something else that can. If it can resolve, just wish for it and create a massive card advantage. I imagine one feels incredibly gratified seeing this one go off.

@baconradar: no, something like phantasmagorian is hard to resolve.

I wish you didn't need to target one of each. Yes, it would make this a bit overpowered, but it would be worth it to have a card that says:

Choose one - Destroy target creature; or destroy target enchantment; or destroy target land; or destroy target artifact; or destroy target creature and target enchantment; or destroy target creature and target land; or destroy target creature and target artifact; or destroy target enchantment and target land; or destroy target enchantment and target artifact; or destroy target land and target artifact; or destroy target creature, target enchantment and target land; or destroy target creature, target land and target artifact; or destroy target creature, target enchantment and target artifact; or destroy target enchantment, target land and target artifact; or destroy target creature, target enchantment, target land and target artifact.

True words, it's hard to pull off but when you can manage it, it's card advantage galore.
Despite being in the enemy colour, Linessa, Zephyr Mage reminded me of this card. But her grandeur ability doesn't require targeting.

So you're pretty much eliminating 4 things for 1 mana each. May be hard to pull off, but that's pretty damn efficient in my opinion.
