Poor p/t and no ability such as shroud or haste makes this card kind of useless at turn 6.
I think Corrupt or other cards can do better job.
Interesting combos can be used with this guy like pay infinite life with Platinum Angel or giving Abyssal Persecutor to opponent.
3.5/5 for interesting ability . .

Probably the 'worst' Magus- and yet the one whose theme has been repeated more times than any other Magus' in Magic. Lich's Mirror, Soul Conduit, and quite a few other cards are intended to create the ultimate turn-the-tables moment.

You could also Flash it or otherwise cheat it in at the end of their turn in place of flash. But that still leaves it open to response and a phase change before it's set to blow.
