Will never win a game - true. But I use one - just one - in my mostly white Angel deck. Not worth having more in than I reckon - but is useful for a few more life points to help me decide how to respond to an attack with...

Lifegain sucks and this card sucks too. Lifegain only makes sense in rare cases if you have one of those "if you have more than ... life you win" cards, or simply tons of cards that do something powerful when you gain life. Like well of lost dreams. Even then, if you build a lifegain deck with such combos, half of your deck consists of cards that by themselves are totally useless (the lifegain ones). And a strategy where half of your cards suck is rarely a good strategy.

I like this card in a life-gain deck. Angel's Feather is an artifact and therefore gives me some life-gaining diversity as the enchantments are vulnerable to mass dispel via Green. 2 Angel's Feather and 4 Ajani's Mantra and Ajani Goldmane is vicious. I also rock 4 Ajani's Pridemate. Throw in Sword of Vengeance and 2 Sun Titans to really bring the pain. Finally, I have 2 War Priests of Thune in case the red Leyline drops.

This is really the only semi-good of the set, since white is increasingly finding life gain as a viable strategy. For the other colors these artifacts are crap.

Meh, I tried to give it a chance but it's still not that great.

So good in limited, though.

On constructed: Heh, no.
On limited: Sideboardable against white decks, at best. NEVER pick this card early, even if you have four Ajani's Pridemates (because in that case it will always table).

I'm sorry, but for those of you who complain about how much you hate playing against this cycle, get over it. These cards are terrible (Dragon's Claw exempt) and if you can't get around them then build a better deck.

They should at least put new art and flavor on it every time if they keep reprinting it. That would make up for it.
Old Mirrodin art doesn't belong in every Core Set. The same goes for Fireball. I'm a Dominaria man dammit
