Holy jesus, you're right. I can just see Akkoto or Nago eating a recently deceased cadaver and growing stronger. Akkoto did say he would eat Ashitaka. *Shudder*.

On the subject of the card, yeah, what with Innistrad's addiction for death, this card could turn out to be better than Gorehorn Minotaur.

Morbid is harder to trigger than bloodthirst so this isn't on par with Gorehorn Minotaurs. Not even with trample. Seems like other colors have surpassed Green in creature quality.

One of the key cards in my B/G Heartless summoning deck. at worst, it's a 2/2 trample for 2, which is awesome. If I get the morbid effect, though...
