If you're a UK player of a certain age and you don't immediately think "Miner's Strike" when you read that card name, YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG.
I for one am quite fond of Maggy's Mob. Saw some cute tricks at the prerelease with it, Kruin Striker, and Riot Ringleader.

You know what? I bet Falkenrath Aristocrat organized this revolt. Along with her friend Blood artist.

Really nice for a common. It interacts well with aggro battlecry decks, and I love the flavor of its synergy with Unruly Mob: after spending a turn doing their own thing, the thatchers join the unruly mob.

Way underrated card by most. The most impressive thing about this is its element of surprise: you're getting three hasty humans for one card when their army's all tapped out. Then you just equip/soulbond/intangible virtue till they hit hard!

I love that it says to sacrifice the tokens, not to exile them. That makes all the difference in the world. It causes Unruly Mob to pump because technically they are dying humans. Also, this card is ridiculous with Goldnight Commander, Champion of the Parish, Unruly Mob, and Vigilante Justice.

Assuming you have each of those cards on the table, all as of yet unused, this one card turns the Champion into a 4/4 w/ a +3/+3 buff until end of turn (7/7 essentially), the Unruly Mob into a 4/4 until end of turn which becomes a permanent 4/4, nukes the opponent for 3, and creates 3 4/4 hasty tasty treats, and the Goldnight becomes a 5/5. That's kind of ridiculous but that's R/W for ya.

Also, there are other cards in the block (in black or red) and whose names I cannot recall that have a specific trigger for whenever a creature is sacrificed. Or maybe that was back in Alara....I can't real... (see all)

Nice touch that they are sacrificed rather than exiled for village cannibals

Now now peasants, I know Margaret Thatcher's tenure has seen a lot of unemployment, but the community charge will help us rebuild and- oh. You're revolting. Great.

Strong card mind you. Grab 'em with Signal Pest and Goblin Wardriver while you still can!

At the prerelease, I had Goldnight Commander, Riot Ringleader, Banners Raised, and Kruin Striker in my deck along with this.

There were some very lethal turns thanks to those three little guys.
