Angel of Despair is that card, that when down on my luck, i always seem to obtain at the last possible moment to rid the board of my most pressing troubles. Contrary to her name, Angel of Despair has more than once brought joy to my day when i needed it most ;)

I run this in my Isper deck and bouncing her each turn with Venser while using O-rings, Detention Spheres and Wrath of God's to keep everything under control my opponents usually forfeit before I've finished with them.

Awesome Story, that I swear to God is True: I was thinking up what sort of deck list I might pick for the Black-White-Red deck after I saw the spoiler for Kaalia of the Vast. Based only on I thought the arts looked awesome for the tone that kind of deck wants, I called:
Akroma, Angel of Fury
Malfegor
and this.
I also remember wanting to put either Firemane Angel or Razia Boros Archangel in, but I guess that's what Basandra's for instead.
I also wanted Reiver Demon again, but they made a better version with dumb art. the art is the only reason I play Reiver Demon. he's from Mirrodin, but for a reason I can't explain his art looks like it belongs to Ravnica, the best goddamn most BEAUTIFUL set Magic has ever had.
the name is why I pick Lord of the Pit over Xathrid Demon EVERY time.
Im a Vorthos, and I love anything that seems gothicly epic. Ravnica art style FTW 4EVR!

Still a good card. Never liked the art though, :/
I think it's her face and head-shape, it just looks a little infantile, y'know?
The angel of mother-flupping despair should look really badass, and that head just ain't doing it for me.
