@SyntheticDreamer Replace fathom mage with prime speaker zegana and death's shadow with corpsejack menace and you got yourself a deal. I suppose your fatty 13/13 would do though instead of corpsejack. :P

Best combo. With Mirror Gallery in play.
Exile Quicksilver gargantuan for copy.
Exile Giant Adephage for counters.
With Gargantuans ability copy Phyrexian Metamorph who copied Quicksilver Elemental
Pay U: for activated abilities of Experiment Kraj
Necrotic ooze is in play with a counter on it.
Dark impostor is in play with a counter on it.
Put Illusionist's bracers on this card.
Mindshrieker, Hakim, Loreweaver, Myr propagator, and Pack rat are in the graveyard.
Training grounds has been copied with Copy enchantment
Rings of brighthearth are in play.
You now have a 14/14 w BUG artifact creature with:
B/U B/U: Exile target creature put a +1/+1 on this creatu... (see all)

Fathom mage will work with this card and the counters, it says so right on the gatherer page under rulings. Please make sure you check/know ruling before correcting someone incorrectly(lookin at you AeroSigma, the rulings were posted BEFORE your post about how it wouldn't work)
Anyways, now that that is cleared up... I'd personally like to use this guy in a birthing pod deck, of course with copies of fathom mage, prime speaker zegana and a few more things to keep it rolling... Mulch, grizzly salvage, Rot Farm Skeleton, Varolz, the Scar-Striped, etc...
T3: Pod
T4: either play the fathom mage or search for the fathom mage by saccing a 3cmc creature
T5: play mimeo or sac the fathom mage to look for him. Hopefully you have some big creature to exile
T6: Play Death's Presence or something... (see all)
