Ok, so a 2/2 for creature for 2 mana that keeps making you mill cards unless you pay mana?
Kind of a around the bush way to mill yourself.. ( assuming you want to )
It's a lot easier to just throw a Tome Scour on yourself.
Ok, it gives you a creature to block with but then you have the Phasing to work around.
Crappy Rare, i give it a 1 out of 5. =\

This isn't a card for getting you a creature, but with the drawbacks of phasing and self-mill. This is a card for getting a bunch of cards into your graveyard, with the added advantage of giving you a part-time creature. Cards in your graveyard may be useless in many decks, but cards in your library are useless in almost all decks. Provided you're playing the right deck for it, getting cards out of your library (no matter where they end up) is generally a good thing.

Some of the strangest art I've seen in Magic, but the card itself is very, very cool. I love the way it's both a drawback and a benefit depending on the way you build your deck.
