I think this is really an interesting design space for equipments. Shadowmoor/Eventide had a swing at it with it's Avatar Aura cycle, and many of them went over pretty well. Now we have the human equipments from Innistrad. The wording can get a bit bulky (as it kind of did here) but still, I'm curious as to what could come from this.

Great power to cost ratio for legendaries. Fairly powerful in equipment EDH decks, such as Kemba, Kha Regent (Despite the fact that the trample won't happen). Most decks would probably prefer Champion's Helm or Konda's Banner.
