The sacrifice drawback negates what usefulness this could have had, so unfortunately its not something I'd consider using.
Too bad, because the mana cost, art, and card mechanics are very good.

This card is downright terrible. Compare it to Kor Skyfisher which is better in every way than this card. More flexible additional cost, higher power and toughness, and it's even a more useful creature type. Granted this card's old and the power creep is out of hand, but I doubt I would've played this back when Ravnica was standard...

Handsdown if you had the choice between the two, Skyfisher is superior however...
- The two have the same power. Skyfisher has a higher toughness.
- The additional cost is the SAME. In any scenario.
- Drake is a useless creature type though.
