Great with an enchantment that exchanges control of a creature. Add in Portcullis and you control the field. You are unblockable and they can't play creatures.

A bad card that has aged horribly... for such a serious drawback it should be a bigger creature... even something like a 5/5 for {3} or a 6/6 for {4} ... as is though, the risk just isn't worth it.
Being an artifact doesn't help either since it makes Wirecat also susceptible to cards like Shatter.

4/3 for 4 mana is purrfectly feline. I'd play this against an enchantress deck in Legacy, just to make them paws and say WTF? Of course, I'd have tons of Back to Nature or Paraselene effects.
