Another example of taking a set mechanic and plastering it over as many facets of the game as possible.

This card combines the MTG trope of legendary dragons with the trope of Drudge Skeletons, with the new Infect mechanic as a rider on the whole package. As an added feature, they made this card yet another non-red card with the Haste mechanic; haste on black creatures is generally found on efficient, hard to kill black nasties like Bloodghast. The last time we got a black dragon was also one of the last times we got a dragon with haste and regeneration! Remember Hellkite Overlord?

There are other uses for Angels, Dragons, and Demons than Kaalia of the Vast.
They're just not as good. Watch- Kaalia and Skittles are going to rip a new hole in everyone
who isn't ready for it. :D

Autocorrect Fail: Skyrim, the Blight Dragon

This guy pretty much is the iconic Black Dragon in MTG now. By DnD standards, theoretically all Black Dragons should be Poisonous...and he actually is.

Red: Shivan Dragon
Blue: Keiga, the Tide Star
White: Eternal Dragon?
Black: Skithyrix,, the Blight Dragon

There aren't really any iconicly GREEN Dragons that are just Green, but we can cheat and count Rith, the Awakener.

quite possibly the nastiest card in magic. Seriously. This card can end player's game in EDH extremely quickly, all it takes is a nightmare lash and that's gg.

Picture playing in Vintage and going second with an opening hand comprised of this + a Vampire’s Bite + a Virulent Swipe + a Black Lotus + a swamp + two Dark Rituals. Then the stars remain long enough in alignment for you to draw another Dark Rituals. Plus Skithiryx has regeneration for 2B mana. Insane.
