How would you get that Tidehollow Strix to block him? He has Protection from all colored spells. Tidehollow Strix is a colored spell.

Eldrazis in general are to me the worst decision of MTG's R&D team.
Annihilition is anti fair play.
Now this one is simply disgusting.
I am really happy my playing group decided to not play any Eldrazi ever.

Something that's a bit disconcerting that I see is a lot of people are showing counters for it...but they're mosly all colored. It's rules say it has protection from color. That's okay, though, there is an artifact that can insta-kill Emrakul. Thought Prison. You are welcome.

Noone needs this card.. that's why it's a promo card.
If you have 15 mana, any X-spell should be able finish your opponent.... and is more usable than this card.
Of course you can use the hidaway lands to play him.

Rather balanced dude imho. It got powerful abilities, but on the other hand
- "on cast" triggers are worse than "on entering the battlefield"
- can't be reanimated
- can't be cheated into play (if you want the extra turn)
- costs insane amounts of mana
For the same amount of mana, you could fireball someone for 14 damage. :)
And why do people say it will stop mill decks dead in their track? I mill your deck, you have only emrakul left, I play sign in blood on you and you lose, Emrakul won't change that.
