Why do people always insist cards like this "take away the opponent's draw?"

Rather than drawing a random card, your opponent will draw the best card that was on the battlefield...

I guess it takes away their draw in a win-more situation. If you are in a winning position, then "the best card that was on the battlefield" isnt going to be good enough for your opponent.

There is also the fact that you may be messing up their curve. If they have 3 lands out and you bounce a 3 cmc creature, then their next turn they will draw a 3 cmc creature instead of potentially drawing a 4 cmc creature. The best on the battlefield then isnt as good as what their deck had to offer.
