I believe the correct use for this is in a re-animator deck where you bring this back from your grave and kill your opponents obnoxious creature and make every re-animation afterwards has some removal and risk tacked onto it... oh and Ambush Viper
Don't overlook creatures with "enters the battlefield" on them.

Yeah, you'll have a hard time casting mana elves after this... But then, once you have a seven-mana creature out, what do you need more mana elves for? And of course, even a little utility creature can still kill their little utility creatures.

Hmm. reusable fight, 7/7, can kill something as it enters and opponents are now too scared to use utility creatures. I like you. Even without trample, Skarrg Guildmage can solve that problem. 5/5

This will be some fun in EDH. eldrazi monument and cards like it will be nice for the elf decks and fattie deck will fit with it nicely.

If this cost one less mana I think this would be used occasionally, but at 7? Not seeing play except for the casual tables. (but who cares I love the casual tables!)

If I had a Wolfir Silverheart on the battlefield unsoulbonded and played a small creature like Arbor Elf, would the fight happen before or after the soulbond takes effect?

A great card all around. The fight mechanic was definitely something the Gruul Clans needed, and it comes on a solid body too. I can only imagine how crazy things would get if you had multiple Ragebeasts in play...
