love this card, I remember a particularly fun win, fairly recent,
Lands: 5 red 7 green 2 black (poor mana distribution)
Enchantments: Fires of Yavimaya / Warstorm Surge
Opponents field: 27 life+ Plains + fuckton of Honor of the Pures/intangible virtues + Larger army of 6/6 tokens (around 20)
Spells: Lightning Boltx2 (4r7g2b), Seething Song(8r5g2b), Dragon Fodder (4r2g1b) *Drops Broodmate Dragon, Balefire Dragon and Furyborn Hellkite
Warstorm surge dealt 26 damage, Attacked for game, felt like a boss

While everyone wants to spam as many of these as possible, a single extra copy is usually enough to end the game. Even in EDH. Karrthus and Urabrask give approving nods.

Geosurge is useless for dragonstorm. It can only be used to pay for creature or artifact spells, neither of which is DS.

First I thought, "what's the point of Storm on this card? You're never gonna have enough mana to cast anything before it..."
And then it hit me, wait, mana-producing spells like Rite of Flame or Pyretic Ritual count for it... If you base your deck around it, you'll probably be playing 2-3 spells just to be able to cast it, that's an immediate 3-4 dragons on the battlefield. Not too shabby.
