He will never get to his required level. The opponent would never let you.

Becomes a waste of mana if unsummoned, vapor snagged, boomeranged, or any number of unmentionable things. Not a bad card though. 4/5

Yeah, right, sure, they're just gonna let you level him up that high and not kill him in the meantime. Of course.

This card with Magosi, the Waterveil. Charge up magosi and you would still get a turn because of lighthouses effect then get as many turns as you want in a row with out skipping any

Additonal Rulings:

4/11/11 - In a six-player multiplayer Two-Headed Giant EDH game, if both you and the second opponent on the third team control a level 7 Lighthouse Chronologist, and it's the second Thursday of the month, the turn order is as follows (with extra turns in double parentheses): Your team's turn, team A's turn, ((your team's turn)), team B's turn (unless you are team A, in which case it's not your turn again), ((your turn)), your partner's turn, team B and A's turn (at the same time), your mom's turn, your team's turn ((left turn)), and so on until someone swats the table in frustration (at which point you say 'Gotcha!' and return Cardpecker from your graveyard to your hand.)

Dammit, Wizards.

I like this guy, I had the idea the other guy of using him in EDH with Momir Vig and Experiment Kraj, but I wasn't sure if Kraj would also inherit his ability to take turns. Does anybody know?

How to troll with this in a game with friends: make sure your deck and you friends deck has lighthouse chronologist and johnny combo player(if they allow it),Use him as a commander then use him to search for lighthouse chronologist, (your friend should do the same) then if you both have them out and level 7 you two will be the only ones that can take turns, kill the other players the kill each other. Trollololol lol lollol lol.

My cousin top 8-ed his first sanctioned tourney at the prerelease by playing this guy. Pumped his white levelers that gave +2/+2 bonuses and prevent 1 and 2 damage to each of his creatures. BW control will be unstoppable with this. Levelers will be shooting up like nobody's business.

I don't believe 4 of these guys at level 7 would stack (which is probably for the best).
