I really wish I had picked these guys up when they were 50 cents...absurdly strong card and an amazing Tooth and Nail target in Commander. Awesome guy that ends games. 4.5/5

Love it. Mana cost isn't that big a deal considering Green's mana accel, and it pairs up well with Oran-Rief, the Vastwood. That's not even mentioning the Landfall keyword with the many fetch-land cards Green gets.

My question is: why isn't this guy a plant elemental?

Sanderleet: Yes, if you Warp World into two of these and ten lands you would get 20 20/21 plants ready to smash face.

A good creature based replacement for Howl of the nightpack. Both are 7 drop green cards that get you Immediate tokens, excet avenger of zendikar is a come into play creature not a sorcery and it works with any lands not just forests making it good for even mullti-color decks and not just mono green. This guy is perfect as a come into play creature based mass token generator that gets better as you play more lands without becoming any more expensive. I feel silly pointing this out, but he also combos with both of doubling season's effects taking full advantage of token/counter based synergy. Great card all around!
5/5
