5/5 playability, duh.
BUT very, very foolish by R&D. Why not give it vanishing? That would fit nicely still in block and limited since there are plenty of proliferate cards to cheat its life out longer and it would still be useful since so many would just sac it for some other effect prior to its last counter going.
It would still be reasonably strong and wouldn't needlessly obsolete so many other creatures if it were given "Vanishing 4".

If Scars turns out as broken as Mirrodin (which I don't think will happen), this could be insane. As is, it's merely great, especially with all the equipment in the set.
