Where I live, my opponents fear her. I put together a Standard "Sunburst" deck using Gideon, Jace, Chandra, 2 Relentless, and Liliana . . . they would opt to remove her first before the others. To be able to use her ultimate is such a rush to see your opponent just sit there and watch as I divide what they got. It's better to activate it as soon as possible, believe me.

I'm teaching a couple of my friends at school how to play Magic, and one of them went and bought an innistrad fatpack and got 2 Liliana's and literally every rare i wanted.... (not that I havent had my share of good luck. see my post on Emrakul)

Opened it in my second Innistrad booster. First Mythic I ever opened. I knew she was good, but definetly not worth her hideously high price at the time, so I immediately sold her for a big bunch of boosters. I don't regret it at all - first because her price now has halved and I got Army of the Damned, Past in Flames, Mayor of Avabruck, Heartless Summoning and a foil Splinterfright, and second because of my Vorthos reasoning: it's what Liliana herself would have wanted me to do in that situation. I got a nice deal for myself and she probably got paired with a player who had the resources necessary to build a kick-ass deck with her.

I like to play this Liliana with Genesis. You discard Genesis into grave yard and then return any other creatures into your hand. You can do a combo with many creatures that have ability when come into play such as Solemn Simulacrum or eternal witness to help reviving all the strong creatures in your graveyard to your hand.

Pulled her out of 1 of 2 packs on Christmas day! Though sadly she is now only $35.
I remember a few months ago when she was $80 and someone at my LGS traded a Force of Will for her! He was playing Standard U/B control with 3 of her and 4 Snapcaster mages. It made my heart warm when my Standard, Pauper, Infect deck beat him 2-1. With my most expensive cards being 4 Glistener Elves (which were $1 at the time), the cumulative value of my deck couldn't have been over $10.

@Toquinha1977: It's funny you said she usually fills out the B, R and A, 'cause she's chesty and that spells BRA! Get it!? Chesty, bra. Lololol, anyway.
@TheWallinator74: That's exactly what Bolas wants, everyone to forget about him so he can jump out of the shadows and ninja you hardcore from behind with his -9 "Repeatedly pimp slap your opponent."
EDIT: Crap, I got so distracted making crappy jokes I forgot what I was originally going to say. So she's holding the veil in this picture, what do you think the chances are of them making equip type cards for Planeswalkers? They have one (literally one) for lands, and obviously there's a bunch for creatures. Maybe the veil'll show up as a Planeswalker equip in the next set?

There are two reasons to have this card on your deck

Ugh! I want this to go down in price so I can get a few.. $30 bucks to drop on 1 copy of a card is not reasonable for something I'll only play in casual.
