She's good, but not $70 good. And she's certainly not $70 good this early in the block, since there really aren't that many fun things to dump in your graveyard yet.
Unless you're just using her as a $70 edict, she's a build-around-me card. Like Tezzeret, she needs support cards to take advantage of her abilities, and one reanimation spell and a 7 CMC dig spell aren't quite cutting it for me. Personally, I'll just play Tezzeret--who does have an entire block to support his abilities (and can actually kill my opponent)--and pick up my playset of Lilly after the price crashes in two months.

In regards to Steve Argyle's artwork http://cyrem.org/noir/mtg-innistrad-liliana-of-the-veil-official-artwork-preview-spoiler/ both are amazing, but the one chosen for the card is much more subdued and the background is much simpler, the alternate one shows Liliana in a more provocative "belly dancer" type outfit, the background has a very S&M, skulls and bones feeling to it. I think both artwork have their merits, but the alternate artwork would've represented her Ultimate a lot better, having to sacrifice permanents seems really suited for Liliana's personality. 5/5

4 Sun Titans + 3 Throne of Geth + 1 Liliana of the Veil = Her ultimate ability twice in a turn.

Probably the most overpriced card in the history of this game (been playing since end of Revised). I mean she's good, but she's not $60 good.
Insane what people will pay for a card that is a 4.250 at best, going by this obtuse rating system (don't get me started on that topic)
What happened to common sense and actually being able to evaluate a card?
Oh well, let the suckers pay $60 a pop for her. I'll save my money for cards actually worth that price tag, which I have done many times over and for a lot more than $60. (i.e Black Lotus, Set Of Moxes, Time Walk, Ancestral Recall, Timetwister, Time Vault)
But this? Boggles my mind TOTALLY.
And before anybody tells me that I don't know beans about cards or this game, I've got a collection of over 35,000 cards and have seen and played just about all of them, along with their price tags at peak. No card ever cost this much and did relatively so little. And please don't tell me the original dual lands from the early sets. I got them for $... (see all)

Shes gonna rule the format. Remember how Jace came down, ensured his own survival singlehandedly, and then proceeded to generate card advantage the rest of the game until he ended with a backbreaking finisher...
for four mana?
Yeeeeeah.

Ok, I have skipped the prerelease for schooling, and went to the bloody release, first pack i opened was her. <3<3<3.
That being said, she is an amazing card if you can play constructed. Otherwise, her abilities in limited is hard to pull off. I lost all my matches and the worse part about it was she was always out on the field. Her abilities to my perspective are really tuned but can be improved. I wished they had the other artwork steve argyle did. the slightly uncensored version. This one, its ok, but the uncensored was just beautiful. the background fit her perfectly, and the outfit was teasing, but not ***ty. It was perfect at casting the essence of lili. Beautiful, seductive, but will run you through like any sorceress would. Her current ratings are accurate with what she do so im glad :)
