I love the ruling on how creatures that enter the battlefield after you cast this are unaffected. It's like, "Oh, sorry guys, I was late to the execution. What'd I miss?"

Oozing (dripping?) with flavor. It's pricey for removal but that -2/-0 could make a difference.

It seems to me that this is meant to be used after your opponent has just attacked you with a lot of creatures. use the -2/-0 to kill their creatures while letting yours survive while destroying the creature that doesn;t fit this strategy, such as a huge guy you don't have the ability to block profitably or a pesky utility creature avoiding the red zone.

This advice also works if you are the one attacking, although combat won't be AS profitable most likely.

Definately alot of flavor here, but the presence of murder in the set really makes it look bad, especially since this is of a higher rarity. The best I really see it as is a 6 mana fog that cantrips a murder on if you are all out attacked. Its really quite over priced though, they could have made it cost {4}{B} and it still would not be played when compared to the phenomenal murder. 1.5/5

With the amount of swamp pulling black got, and some possible Krenko shenanigans abounding, I could see this as sideboard anti goblin tech. Or maybe nuke a Talrand and neutralize all his friends for a turn.

Pretty situational, and probably too much mana, but it has uses.

I understand that not every card is balanced for competitive play. That said, I hate it when a jacked-up mana cost keeps a card from doing what it's supposed to do. By the time you can cast this, the perfect time to cast it has already come and gone; this just looks like poor design to me.

They could try something similar in the future, sure, but now they've already used up the perfect card name for it.

While not amazing, I love the flavor.
My largest issue is that this is in a set that supports Exalted, and it's sorta meant to be used when someone attacks all-out.
I've seen it put to good use (and used it a little to good effect) in Limited, though.
Killed a Talrand, Sky Summoner and nullified 3 2/2 fliers with it for the win.
So, you know, it's not terrible, just too much mana for a kill spell, ultimately.

first thing that springs to mind is that this is a defensive card (unless you are also playing red and boosting attack power on all your creatures or something

The second ability seems very white although the first ability would make this a strange white card.

Such a strong flavor. That one guy in the crowd who's standing out really makes the art shine.
