When I got back into MTG a few months back, I pulled a foil Biomancer in my first booster and fell in love at first sight. He is the perfect embodiment of a hybrid Johnny/Timmy player. Timmy is happy to play Worldspine Wurm, but Johnny/Timmy would much rather have an army of 7/7 Elvish Mystics.

Spike, on the other hand, is unimpressed, since his Desecration Demon does just fine without the additional counters. But you know what, Spike? No one ever asks for your creative input on anything, so just go back to copy/pasting netdecks and leave the cards with limitless potential to the rest of us.

Use Sakashima's Student to copy Horned Turtle while this guy is in play. Congratulations, you are now the proud owner of a Mutant Ninja Turtle.

See, at least he's nice enough to give nature some credit. Too many Simic guys seem to be all "Nature is awful! My trademarked species are teh hax!!1" Saying that nature is inspiring but "just too slow" feels more Simic to me. That is why he is the Master Biomancer.

There's about to be a storm coming soon - Master of Waves and this guy are going to make a collaboration and the mixtape is going to cause a surge of sore behinds.

Pj34: Yes, if I'm not mistaken, if a permanent "enters the battlefield with x counters" that still counts as an effect that places counters on that permanent (just like planeswalkers entering with double counters if you have doubling season).

Interestingly enough, the second copy would be more effective than the first due to its ability, and so on. Cackling Counterpart and other cloning spells only make it more powerful.

Step 1: Flash in The Mimeoplasm just before your turn and exile this.
Step 2: Have The 'plasm exile Lord of Extinction, or the new Consuming Aberration.
Step 3: Have a giant Ooze Mutant Wizard that can cast, assuming an 18/18 Lord or Aberration-
A 21/21 Llanowar Elf, a 21/21 Fathom Mage (drawing 20), a 21/22 Gyre Sage capable of tapping for 20 Green Mana, or a 41/41 Prime Speaker Zegana (drawing 41) O_o

Yeah, I like this card.
