Most creatures have a high enough power that they kill themselves this way. This card is a cheap way to steadily kill creatures.

The only use I find for this card is pumping a creature that gets counters from damage. She would really shine if the activation cost was BB as well, though, it's a bit overpriced right now.

This card, I think, represents everything that was good about Kamigawa and everything that went wrong: kickass art (the foil is glorious), awesome flavor and an incredible ability, but woefully overcosted and with underpowered stats (a backlash against power creep which we can thank the hilariously broken Mirrodin block for).
