I use a couple of these as bait for Gilded Drake. Works surprisingly well. Oh your going to grab Emrakul? Well here, why don't I take that and you just have this 3/3 Flying instead?

Very fun, very well made card. Has a lot of potential, but you can't just drop it blindly without asking for trouble.

Mindlock Orb is one solution. If you want to stay in color, Stranglehold or Torpor Orb are also good for the job.

I had an opponent pull this the other day in multiplayer. I got a glimmerpoint stag, and targeted the giant. At the end of turn, I got another, and I had eight total creatures in the deck that could do the same thing and the game got crazy.

MarlinFlake
"Emrakul can't be targeted by colored spells"
1) A spell is any card that is on the stack
2) Colored abilities like those of fatestitcher, Cunning Sparkmage and Gilded Drake are not cards and therefore not spells, however if those cards were on the stack and used those abilities on the stack then they can not target Emrakul because there sources are from colored spells
3) "When 'Name' enters the battlefield" is a triggered ability from something on the battlefield and not the stack
4) I can read just fine and eak1801 I'm taking your combo :D

I like following this with a Breaking Point, especially in multiplayer.

The savest and simplest way to play this should be with Grafdigger's Cage or Stranglehold on the field.
Leonin Arbiter works too if you play white, but only if your opponents can't afford to pay 2.
Control-changing or bounce effects should be awesome as well - unless your opponent brings a creature with shroud or hexproof).
Or simply stick to good old Stifle.

8/8 Trample. for 4 mana. You just KNOW the Johnnies are going to break this. Thankfully Dies to Doom Blade.

MarkBGH: Leonin Arbiter is the Mana Leak. Stranglehold is the Counterspell. Grafdigger's Cage is the Force of Will.

They look like a couple of fat, planar tourists! lol

It's not that bad. It depends on the deck you're fighting.

You can limit how much your opponents can search with Aven Mindcensor, or just stop them outright with Mindlock Orb.
