I want to stick this on Glissa, the Traitor sacrificing Perilous Myr to shoot a blocker.

I prefer Piston Sledge and its synergy with artifacts (wellsprings, etc) versus this and some sort of odd morbid combo.

Excellent sac engine in innistrad (combine with Falkenrath Noble), powerful equip, and 2 turn kill with Blighted Agent.

At my last draft I sacrificed my Doomed Traveler and equipped it to my Thraben Sentry, which then flipped into Thraben Militia

I swing with a 9/6 Trample. Do you block? :P

If the only creature I control has undying, can I sacrifice it to equip the Hauberk to itself when it comes back? In other words, does the undying trigger and bring the creature back before I have to choose a target for the equip?

No.

This fails on the simple basis that when a creature leaves the battlefield, and then later returns to the battlefield, it is considered a new creature, and therefore, not the original target. By sacrificing the intended target (with Undying), it does go:

Announce Activation of Ability
Name Target
Pay Costs (Sacrifice)

New trigger hits the stack (undying)

Resolve Undying--> Creature Returns

Artifact looks for target- target left, and therefore is no longer valid.

Ability fizzles.
