It may be the worst of them all, but I think I'd still be happy to see it turn up mid-game. "Any non-land permanent" is pretty versatile, so they're bound to have something worth getting rid of, plus they loose their draw giving you card advantage. For five mana it is overcosted, for one mana this is a beautiful bargain. I guess if you were justifying using it or not all you'd have to do is ask yourself one very important question...

Do you believe in... miracles?

I don't see why the card is rated so low... even if it is kind-of situational, it renders the next draw a dead draw, instead of bouncing the card they just end up with the same card in the next draw, card advantage much? Far more playable than grasp of phantoms or griptide just cause its that much more versatile even with the higher mana cost i'd run it, innistrad block is a slow format so you can afford to run high cmc cards with a situational lower cost, the same concept has applied to the much higher flashback costs. Your top-deck becomes what once was your hand where your graveyard supplemented late-game card advantage. You just dont need a dredging engine to get cards in your graveyard now. Its just a matter of top-decking adequately, *cough* noxious revival, ponder, reclaim *cough*

situational and powerful - in a deck with a few ponders could see this being an above-par casual card

You'd think a name such as Vanishment would have been used by now. Also, MasterOfEtherium has gone batshit insane. Not that he wasn't, in the first place...

Even the worst miracle is considered good by WotC, apparently. Totally Lost from Gatecrash is strictly worse.

I like it. Worked for me in the pre-release, but its mana cost is somewhat prohibitive. It's a decent utility spell.

I really prefer Temporal Spring, not just because of the cost but also because it's more predictable. I can 4-of with Temporal Spring without worrying about drawing it too early. Temporal Spring also hits lands.
