Maybe Domri Rade is hiding somewhere in there

Some of my favorite flavor text. I'm glad the Gruul got a little more depth this time.

This is the only Shockland whose art is vastly inferior to the original, IMO.
Shame too, because I'd really like to have the flavor text and new watermark with the old art.

If, John Avon had done the art for this land, it would have had Domri Rade hiding in the background somewhere. It also would have been much better.

It looked like a giant rake-machine (plow?) at first.
Up close, I can see it's actually a crumbled building with a tree growing through it.

By far the worst art on any of the shocklands. It's kind of ironic, though, because this is the shockland that looks like it could have the most impact on standard. Flinthoof Boar is suddenly a much better creature than it was a few weeks ago, and it has some cool new friends, like Burning-Tree Emissary.

It seems like Gruul always gets the short end of the stick when it comes to land illustrations. They're quite tame when compared to what the guild would have you believe. It's really frustrating. This could easily be alternate art for Rootbound Crag.
