This cycle was one of my favorite land cycles of recent times, and the Wolf Run was the best and in it. An absolutely beautiful mana sink that doesn't slow you down by coming in tapped. Confers trample for {1}{R}{G}(considering it could have been tapped), and confers basically free power buffs without using up a land slot.

Truly a masterpiece.

Fetched with a Primeval Titan in a lands deck can turn a simple Dryad Arbor into a 6/1 trample next turn, or the titan into an 11/6

@DarthParallax
I totally agree (Read my rant on this on the Innistrad printing). Decent card, but for a FTV, no. Primeval or Inferno Titan would have been much better.

I mean....I feel like this spot should be Primeval Titan. Just saying.

how did NONE of the Titans get on here? :/ Seems like an oversight actually...

One of the scariest lands to see on the other side of the field.
Good choice.

It always leaves a bad taste in my mouth when they put something so recent into a Vaults set. And it's not even that "important" of a card! This is a great land, but did it leave that much of an impact on the game environment? Sure, it saw some play in conjunction with Primeval Titan, but that combo was way overshadowed by Snapcaster Mage's antics and self-milling shenanigans. Really, if they insisted on putting in a rare land from a recent set, I would have been much happier with Valakut - except they represented Zendikar block with Jace the Wallet Sculptor. Having this in the Vault just feels... lazy, and uninspired, I suppose.

This card is why I like werewolf decks so much.

Actually, NARFNra, × can be {0}, meaning you only need to pay {R}{G} to give a creature trample.
