I'm a big fan of flash, and I'm sad about its general absence in M12. This card's probably a little expensive especially when compared to something like Ashcoat Bear.

It should have haste, not flash. Haste is speed, flash is ambushing, or turning up in the nick of time, etc. Flash would be more apt on an animal like a lion, one that stalks and pounces.
But yes, fantastic flavour.

Yeah, Suq'Ata wisdom sure sucks alright. What's with all this flavor text making every little creature in the world out to be the most scary badass thing ever? And for that matter, does anyone actually appreciate "funny" quotes like this encouraging you to selfishly throw your friends to the wolves (or cheetahs, in this case)? Give us Shakespeare quotes and wisdom from ancient texts, not adolescent mTV-mentality garbage.
Ah, well, anyway, I thought this was a great card, actually. It would have been even cooler and more appropriate to have the Cheetah have first strike - a real ambush! - but as it is, this was a really cool creature. Green really should have cards like this.

Well, most humans are pretty much Civilized Scholars that can't flip. So, a 3/2 would be devastating. With specific regards to the Suq'Ata, they are a 0/1 (Suq'ata Firewalker), a 1/1 (Suq'Ata Assassin) and a 2/2 (Suq'Ata Lancer). The 2/2 has a horse and lance and still wouldn't live to tell the tale of a Cheetah on the attack.
On another level, this cat can take out most planeswalkers and a lot of giants. So, yea, pretty scary badass.
