Omnath, Locus of Mana...

Since they removed Mana burn from M10,
this has just gotten ridiculous!!

Why is this only rated a 3?? This card is amazing on the right permanent! I love this card. Even if there's only one or two colored mana, and one or two colorless mana, that's still two to four extra mana, And on bigger stuff it can be amazing!! Totally underrated card.

Use Simic Guildmage to staple two of them to each other.
Why? WHY? You dare ask why?

good in an eldrazi deck. Put it on your ealier "small" eldrazi to get out the big ones.

Avatar's/Bringers
Anything with a ridiculous mana cost and an alternate play cost really.
Or any of the hybrid avatar spirits, having a choice between any combination of two colours for 5 mana can be really good for those super intensive red spells/breathing etc

I use this in my Horde of Notions EDH deck. Played on Horde, it's basically one free creature from the graveyard every turn.
This card becomes much much better, though, when you play it on other people's fatties or other expensive permanents. It can be used that way for color fixing, political purposes in multiplayer, and it balances out the essential weakness of auras.
