So... how would this work with Level Creatures, multiple ones I mean?

Curious, could this card Combo with Necrotic Ooze and never lose your activated abilities?

Actually, every comment involving planeswalkers is wrong (I think). The addition or subtraction of loyalty counters is part of the cost of the ability, and the cost cannot be paid, because the rules state that only permanents with the planeswalker type can have loyalty counters. Not sure how this works with abilities that cost 0 loyalty.

You know, people, there's an easier and cheaper way to turn Planeswalkers into creatures other than Mycosynth Lattice and March of the Machines.
Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas + Liquimetal Coating
@Gareth32: Where does it say that? I checked the two sections for loyalty in the Comprehensive Rules (209 and 606) and it doesn't mention anything like that.

CR 606.2 states that "Normally, only planeswalkers have loyalty abilities" but elsewhere the rules make references to "permanents" having loyalty abilities. 606.6 states that "The cost to activate a loyalty ability of a permanent is to put on or remove from that permanent a certain number of loyalty counters, as shown by the loyalty symbol in the ability's cost" which would imply that any kind of permanent can have loyalty counters. However, CR 306.5 states "Loyalty is a characteristic only planeswalkers have." My interpretation of this is that loyalty as a characteristic is planeswalkers-only but loyalty counters can be on any kind of permanent.. much like power and toughness is a characteristic only creatures have but any kind of permanent can have +1/+1 counters (see Llanowar Reborn).

Ah man, I love this card. I was brought the CounterPunch EDH deck which I love and was really getting into EDH. I have been looking at all the +1/+1 counter creatures and seeing all the beautiful interactions with Ghave, - and how many of them are blue or red, oh well.
Quite randomly I just opened a Dissension booster and I find this in it. LOL. I never knew it existed and it would be perfect with CounterPunch - well except for the blue. I guess I will have to buy Horde of Notions and use that as my commander!

Cathar's Crusade and this card basically reads: this card has the abilities of all creatures in play when this creature enters the battlefield.

I really hope Experiment Kraj becomes a planeswalker in the Return to Ravnica block. If it is powerful enough to destroy Rakdos, take control of the Simic Guild, and "choose it's own evolution" then I see no reason why it couldn't.
Experiment Kraj as a plansewalker would be so interesting!
