I bet this is totally going to be in the Premium Deck Series: Graveborn deck.
'virtually' Birds of Paradise, except zombified, neuterfied, a foil one won't jack up the price of the deck too much, and at the end of the day the tribal synergies will probably make it actually better than if they'd put in Birds.

Like some others said, if this was a 1 cost, it'd be a lot better. I mean, you've got the mana myrs and Scuttlemutt if you need some actual mana production, and Scuttlemutt costs the same as this.

I think the reason he's 2B is because he's a zombie. you'll notice many zombie cards seem overpriced. that's most likely due to the fact that they have many tribal and graveyard benefits that other tribes don't have. like ghoulcaller's chant and call to the grave, these cards have built-in benefits that you pay for in an extra colorless or sometimes two, depending on the card...that's just my look on it anyway.

Fun facts: Vesper means evening prayer. It works with this guy, a religious (sorta...by the flavor text) that gives hope but is slowly darkerning to shadow. Or something like that. Anyway, good for scrabble.
