Probably better than Sunweb if you're trying to remove defender and attack.

@qazior I was thinking the exact same thing. I think I'm going to throw a some defenders in a deck and try them out with wakestone gargoyle. And I bet now with the whole defender theme being used hugely in rise of the eldrazi, these cards will become more useful I believe.

If you plan to run attacking defenders(what) chances are you'll want a hefty sum of red cards to round it out.

It is a good one-time blocker against your opponent's big stuff, but that's about it. A bit better if combined with Sinstriker's Will, but there are better options.
