Experiment Kraj requests, nay demands, the use of your powers.

Heavy Arbalest works well with this

This is quite a solid card for the Simic guild. If you consider a 4/4 or a 5/5 creature with pseudo-vigilance and protection from tap effects, that seems pretty good for four mana. Also works well with effects that allow you to tap for an effect (like Heavy Arbalest).

Johnny loves such abilities^^
auras or equipment that provide tap effects might be fun with that one.
it's not the best card for things like that, though.

I think the only purpose of this card is Experiment Kraj.

Compared to Horseshoe Crab, on the surface, this is not bad. One extra mana for +2 power is a decent tradeoff on most cards.
However, when you consider that you really only use the crab in combos rather than to attack, the power becomes far less relevant and the greater mana cost much more consequential (particularly the Green which is generally not combo-friendly). What could have been more useful is extra toughness.
Still this is OK though.
