I think Waldo was being sarcastic.
I'm a fan of this guy. He's not a game-winner or anything but he's a solid red card for both attacking and defending, and 4-power first strike isn't easy to get rid of without removal.

It might be hard to kill this guy in combat, since he's got 4 power backing the first strike. Suspend him on the first turn and you might see him enter the board before something with 5 toughness appears. An OK red card.

An easy guy to forget about due to his suspend. Great for punishing decks whose only way of dealing with creatures is through combat damage.
