Black discard is much more useful than other color discard. tbh

@ultratog10Z8: you can't actually do anything on the draw phase. In fact, correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think you can do anything after the draw step until your opponent passes priority, which won't happen until they activate an ability, end their main phase, or play a spell. So, if during their first main phase they want to play the big creature they just drew, you can't actually stop them with a Funeral Charm (unless they do something else first).

You could play this with Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth on your first turn. Or, you could save it until you have a creature...

Gasp, what heresy is this, an Instant speed discard spell!?
That being noted, the other two abilitys are still pretty good, potential removal or pump is helpful in combat, and swampwalk can in theory end the game, however its less useful then the other two abilities
