I sideboard this in my mill deck. May be my favorite artwork on a card.

I play black, and even I think this is a bit too powerful, but oh well, a lot of cards are. About time one of them were black.

One of my favorite creatures ever. Huge body with evasion, with an easily-achievable alternate cost, plus Terminate on a stick.

Do we like 6/5s for 2? do we like destroying for unconditional tap effects? yes yes i think we do.

This is just the the best card of the black color, and one of the best cards of all Magic singles.
It mixes destruction and power, like an endless source of death... to the oponnent, of course. XD
And here goes the truth: the best cards are just the old cards, of the old collections, like this big daddy here.

I got 20 Prophecy boosters, drew two Avatar Of Fury, one Avatar Of Might, two Spellshapers, four Winds... But not this. :(
I open my SECOND Time spiral Tournament Pack, and drw this, another Timeshifted rare, and of course three TS rares. :)))))))
This one's a one-in in almost every black deck, it's just THAT good. Even sicker if combined with mechanics which dump creatures from your hand/library into your graveyard.

Good (or rather Evil) old Avatar of Woe, maybe to expensive but he's still great.

Nice card. I like how it can be casted cheaper too because one of the major problems these days are insane and stupid casting costs of cards that are in print now because people ALWAYS WHINE about good stuff being overpowered.
