Nearly every card in Time Spiral was a throwback to at least one previously printed card.

This card references Fork as well as the Mirari.

This is a petty nice card. It's like comparing Bolt with Burst Lightning(vaguely), when comparing this to Fork. The option and flexibility make it not as good initially, but for more effect if you get it late game.

I'd still rather run Pyromancer Ascension, though, for all my doubling burn and whatnot needs.

Cards that reduce costs such as Locket of Yesterdays or Memory Crystal also reduce this card's cost when you use the buyback ability. So when you cast a reduced cost Reiterate on say, a Rite of Flame or Seething Song you can generate extra mana or build up an infinite storm count.

I find it fun to boost my burns that cost X. I mean, tap 11, BaneFire for 10, 3 more, reiterate it and that's 7 mana saved, the bigger the burn the more I save.

Also, on a more aesthetic note, at least I found it fun in and of itself to gentlemanly state "Allow me to Reiterate that." Behind a big move.

I'm putting a set of these in a deck with 4 Arc Blades and 4 Chronomatic Escapes. After a few turns, potentially untouchable by creatures and sending out repeating Shocks every turn. 4 out of 5.

Solid 4/5. In EDH, this card is gold.

Amazing fun in casual, especially multiplayer.

Also note that it can be fetched out of your deck by Sunforger. Since the searched for card is actually played, you can opt to play the Buyback cost (an additional cost) and put it into your hand after it resolves.

Although six mana is usually above the curve, even discounting the cost of the spell to be copied (if you cast it), this finds its place to shine in EDH, where powerful, late-game bombs can spell the difference between winning and losing. Even with the cost of those spells, six extra mana is never out of the question. Of course, this card gets even better in a deck that lets you forgo the cost of spells and/or cast them earlier than you should.
